**The following link is for a training curriculum regarding Status Offenders. Upon completion of the training, and with the aid of reference materials, participants will understand and be able to effectively advocate for and identify how to implement the principles outlined in the National Standards for the Care of Youth Charged with Status Offenses in their jurisdiction.



*The following link is for a program to help youth explore careers. It includes a component for youth workers teaching the modules.

 

 

*This link is to a certificate in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. It is designed for people who already have a Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field.

 

 

*The next link is to a free Hazard Communication training. OSHA trainings are required every 3 years.

 

 

 
*The Jason Foundation http://www.jasonfoundation.com/seminars/training/ has an extensive suicide prevention training that takes approximately 4 hours to complete.  A certificate is received for each of 4 modules completed. Send a written request to "contact us" asking for a login and password in the comment section of the form. 
 
 
 
*VADSS also has a training module designed to help address the problem of child maltreatment by learning how to recognize possible abuse/neglect, report it to the appropriate agency, and provide support to children who may have been victimized.
